Whilst I had been working on an album project called 'The King,' I was also enjoying having jams in the style of Hip Hop and Lofi.

This little album is really a mix of jams and studio recorded finished tracks in those two genres.

This album was born through experimentation on my new studio device, an Akai MPC Live. I am using this machine as a groove box as well as a sampler.

So I hope you enjoy this album. It is a sensual delight of classic motifs, smooth jazzy loops, and crackle lofi chill.

Experimentation is really important for me as a musician as it allows me to explore genres and styles that are different from that of my own. I grew up during the 80s and 90s and heard some great dance and rap music. Now today with the latest crossover of genres via chill wave and lofi all of what I know musically can be brought out in a timeless way.

I hope you enjoy this album. I had fun creating it.

Oh and for those who are interested, this album was made using the Akai MPC Live and some mastering from garage band on a Mac.
